The Story of How Texas Medicaid Supports Students With Disabilities
Jordan Scott is a senior at McAllen High School that faced difficulties in navigating through the school in his wheelchair. His Medicaid health insurance plan, United Healthcare, provided a school liaison who worked with the school to make everything accessible and ensure he was fully included in all school activities including the band and crossing the stage for his National Honor Society induction.
